Our moringa and its derived products, marketed by HECOSFAIR, are produced by a Haitian cooperative, COOPAAFA. based in jacmel, in the south-east of the country.

Moringa Guacamole Recipe
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 nice tomato
  • 40g white spring onion or red onion
  • 1 handful of fresh cilantro
  • 1 to 2 bird's tongue peppers
  • 2 tsp of Fairtrade Haitian moringa powder
  • Salt

Boil the tomato for about 30 seconds then peel it.

Cut it into small cubes after removing the seeds.

Chop the white onion.

Wash the coriander, wring it out and finely chop it.

Remove the stalk from the peppers, remove the seeds and cut them into thin rings or dice.

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit and core them

Coarsely mash the pulp of the avocados with a fork with the tomato pulp, sliced onions, chopped cilantro, peppers, moringa powder, then season with salt and lemon juice.

Serve quickly with tortillas or tacos.

Matcha moringa latte tea recipe
  • 200 ml of coconut milk or other vegetable milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground matcha tea
  • 1 teaspoon of Haitian fair trade moringa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of organic and fair trade coconut blossom sugar from Indonesia
  • 1 tsp of coconut oil

Start by putting the milk in a small saucepan with the matcha tea and the moringa powder.

Let heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring often.

Then add the coconut blossom sugar and coconut oil.

Using a whisk or a mixer, stir vigorously until you get a little foam on the surface.

Cold moringa cucumber soup:

  • 1 cucumber
  • 110g fresh spinach
  • ¼ onion
  • Lime juice
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of fair trade Haitian moringa powder

Wash the cucumber and spinach.

Cut the cucumber into sections.

In a blender, combine the cucumber, spinach, onion, lemon juice, olive oil and moringa.

Moringa detox smoothie recipe 
  • 1 apple
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 1 tsp of moringa powder
  • 1/2 lime

Mix the fruits and spinach leaves.

Add the powders to the mixture.

Mix well, add ice if you wish.

Coconut Moringa cookies recipe:

  • 1 cup of pistachios
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp of organic Canadian maple sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of Fairtrade Haitian moringa powder
  • 1-2 tbsp of water
  • 1 organic vanilla bean from Madagascar

Filling:

  • 1 cup unsweetened grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp of almond butter
  • 1 organic vanilla bean from Madagascar
  • 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil

Place the cookie ingredients in your food processor and mix until the mixture is well combined. Place the mixture between two pieces of plastic wrap and use a rolling pin to roll up the cookie dough until it is about 1/2 inch thick. With a round cookie cutter, cut the cookies until you run out of dough. Place the cookies in the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes to harden.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling by placing the ingredients in the food processor and pulsing the mixture until smooth and smooth.

Take the cookies out of the freezer and scoop about 1-2 tablespoons of the filling from more than half of the cookies. Place another cookie on the filling to assemble the sandwiches.
