Our Maldon salt is 100% artisanal and natural salt.

It is a flagship of English gastronomy.

This salt was crafted with great skill, employing the same traditional artisanal methods used in the coastal town of Maldon since 1882.

It is a pyramidal flower of salt with a pronounced salty taste despite its surprising lightness.

It is one of the only salts that does not require a grinder because it crumbles between the fingers and cracks very easily between the teeth.

It will sublimate all your dishes and your desserts and your drinks.

Once the package has been opened, we advise you to keep the product in a cool, dry place, away from light and humidity, so that it retains all its nutritional and taste qualities.

Maldon salt

Maldon salt is a specialty food sea salt from Maldon (Essex) from the high salinity waters of the Blackwater River Estuary (especially due to a permanent tide accompanied by a low level of precipitation).).

The clay salt marshes date back two millennia.

Since 1882, it has been manufactured by the Maldon Salt Company.

Its production is divided into three stages: in order to free it from impurities, the sea water is first filtered then brought to the boil, the sea water is heated until the formation of salt crystals and once drained. and dried, the crystals are conditioned.

It is one of the rare salts whose crystals are pyramidal in shape.
